For most industry professionals these days, the “office” is more than just a place where work is done. It is rather a second home. Its a place where a person makes friends and interacts with clients, customers and patients - building connections that hopefully last a lifetime. Dental offices are no different. In fact, more so than professionals in other industries. They need to prioritize their office design to be able to accommodate both employees and visitors alike.

Such is the story of this project. The client’s family has been a well-known name in the dental profession both in the theoretical and practical side of it. After many years of staying in their first office, the second generation of dentists in the family wanted a new workplace where they would carve out their own professional career.

The team created a balanced upscale environment that was both welcoming and inspiring to the clients. It was addressed by the use of a clean modern contemporary aesthetic that was also easy to construct due to its simple form. The use of glass, sleek fixtures and the purchase of new state of the art equipment make the clients feel at ease that they will be properly cared for and receive the best treatment possible. All rooms were strategically placed to enable one way traffic flow for the users. This maximizes efficiency and avoids human “traffic jams” that can happen during busy times. Focus on value engineering solutions assured that all viable alternatives to more expensive materials were also considered.
